In the fast paced environment of pharmaceutical discovery chemistry, preparative purification should not be the bottleneck in delivering molecules and meeting program deadlines. Every molecule made by medicinal chemists has the potential to be the molecule that could saves lives. Molecular purity is essential in testing the hypothesis in which the molecule was designed. Open Access Preparative LCMS allows for high quality, efficient, on-demand purifications that medicinal chemists can perform themselves. The key to maintaining Open Access Prep LCMS is custom software, developed in-house, that simplifies the process of sample submission, LCMS method development, fraction collection and data interpretation. This presentation will detail the hardware and software that enables Open Access Preparative LCMS at Incyte Corporation.
